These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://kickstartc.co.uk and any related services provided by Kickstart Connections Ltd (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Who we are

Kickstart Connections Ltd provides a platform and support services to connect students, employers and colleges for work placements. We act as an intermediary facilitating introductions and support; we are not the employer of students.

Using the Service

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- Provide false or misleading information during registration.
- Attempt to access or interfere with other users’ data or accounts.
- Use the Service to infringe the rights of others or to post harmful content.

Accounts & registration

If you create an account you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Our role & third parties

We facilitate introductions and provide placement support. We do not employ students, and we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of employers, colleges or third-party service providers. Any agreement for the provision of work, supervision or payment is between the student and the host organisation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Fees & costs

Please refer to any specific placement agreement or commercial terms provided separately. In many cases there will be little to no cost to hosts; where fees apply these will be made clear in advance.

Intellectual property

All content on the Service (text, images, logos, code) is owned or licensed by Kickstart Connections Ltd. You may not reproduce or use this content without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kickstart Connections Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for direct losses suffered as a result of our negligence is limited to the amount paid to us (if any) for the relevant service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where users breach these Terms, or where required by law. Termination does not affect rights or liabilities accrued prior to termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will be posted on our website with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
